Off and on, for the past fifteen years, I have researched the areas of Partrick and Redwood roads west of Napa, California, where I have been lucky enough to live. I am smart enough not tell you the arcane beginnings of all this, but the questions I had got me going on a whole lot of other research. As it goes with research, one thing led to another, and now I have a lot of information, images and, most importantly, stories to tell.
